The Decantation Tank X-60, is a set of 3x2000L tanks able to separate mud, oil and hydrocarbons due to a system of filtration and sedimentation.
The first treatment stage consists of a sedimentation basin in which a gravimetric separation process takes place. The compounds with different specific weights to water: sand, mud, gravel, settle and accumulate at the bottom of the tank, while lighter ones (oils, fat, etc) rise to the surface. The second treatment step consists of de-oiling. Due to the presence of coalescing filter oils and residual hydrocarbons, they are combined on the same filter as well as separating the waste-water.
Finally, the clean water is filtered through a fine filter element to be reused in the pressure-washer to close the circuit. The booster pump to deliver the clean water to the pressure-washer at the end.
